Working Americans need a Congress that identifies and truly represents the American people. Members of Congress cannot identify how "The People" of the United States feel unless they too experience the same turmoil and financial instability they are placing on the average American they represent. Therefore Members of Congress should be forced to have their pay suspended if the government shuts down.
