Due to the discrimination against the vast majority of American citizens and legal immigrants, an immediate national referendum is necessary to approve proposed changes to US immigration laws.
Past and present Administrations in Washington have implemented inadequate immigration policies, with a damaging effect on the US economy and way of life. It will be made worse for all Americans by a) repeating past failed policies, b) allowing special interest minority groups to blackmail the majority of Americans, c) rewarding those who have broken the law.
True democracy can only be achieved by a special referendum with an up and down vote across party lines on individual changes, for the greater good of the American people, as it affects our future.
