Hold physicians accountable for failing to diagnose diseases before the terminal stages.

Created by B.Y. on March 25, 2013

Hold physicians accountable for failing to diagnose diseases such as cancer due to not taking patient symptoms & concerns seriously.
Ex 1: Patient complains of rectal bleeding, fatigue, pain & edema being told there is nothing wrong then is diagnosed with rectal, liver, & lung cancer as well as being told that he has had non- alcoholic cirrhosis for years (undiagnosed). Given 30 - 50% chance of surviving 2 1/2 years.
Ex 2: Patient complains of bleeding when urinating, has surgery to cauterize bladder, then ends up in ICU due to systemic sepsis because the bleeding was caused by colon cancer eating its way through the bladder wall.
Ex 3: Patient complains he is having sypmtoms similar to previous cancer diagnosis. Doctors say there's no problem. Patient dies of spinal & lung cancer.
