On 14 July 2015, the Center for Medical Progress released a video which showed Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, discussing the sale of fetal tissue for "30 to 100 dollars" per specimen.
Dr. Nucatola admits that Planned Parenthood's "Litigation and Law Department ... just really doesn’t want us to be the middle people for this issue right now, but I will tell you that behind closed doors these conversations are happening with the affiliates.” She specifies which body parts are most in demand and indicates her desire that Planned Parenthood affiliates' sale "is not perceived as 'The clinic is selling tissue. This clinic is making money off of this.'"
