Currently police officers who commit questionable offenses are put on paid vacation while the event is investigated. In order to keep the judicial process fair for all citizens, and not protect one group over another; when there is reasonable evidence that the officer has committed a crime or misused their authority. They should be incarcerated during the investigation in the same fashion as the citizens they serve.
