For years now, Congress has been in a deadlock regarding firearm legislation, as neither Democrats nor Republicans can seem to come to a compromise on the subject - especially considering the past few weeks in the wake of the shooting in the Pulse nightclub early June. Seeing as there is no likely outcome on either side of the issue if simply left to the House and Senate, we, the people of the United States of America, demand a vote by popular referendum on gun control legislation, so that the real best interest of the populace can be used to determine the best possible solution; this is an issue which needs addressing, and we, the undersigned, will no longer tolerate indifference and inaction.
