Hold public voting to address controversial legislation, such as the NDAA, that citizens were never given a say in.

Created by A.H. on August 07, 2012

Recently many questionable pieces of legislation have been signed into law that have direct negative effect on the citizens of the US without any evidence of public input or oversight. In some situations arguments against the constitutional legality of these pieces of legislation can be made.

The NDAA, the PATRIOT act, the existence of the TSA, the existence of Homeland Security, are great examples.

These violate our rights as citizens of the United States but have never been addressed publicly. Worse, the signing of the NDAA and the continuation of the PATRIOT act, the last minute changes to the patriot act, all seem to have been as hidden from teh public as possible.

It is time for that to change.
