Let's face it: the United States is divided, literally and socially. As one of the youngest nations on the planet, our teen angst shows itself to both our own citizens and to other nations around the world. Currently, we are fifty divided sovereign units that "function" as a collective whole, when really we should be one sovereign nation with fifty separate distinctive geographic areas.
When states compete for what should be "the right laws," we end up with fifty separate accounts of "the right laws." This continuously forces internal competition which simply serves to further divide us and pit us against one another.
I propose that We The People hold a referendum on challenging the Tenth Amendment of our Constitution. Dissolve state borders and unify under one national set of laws!
