Are the citizens of a 21st century democracy served by a constitutional right to bear arms? Of course, says the NRA. They, along with the gun manufacturers, will spend several hundred million dollars to defend it. What say We, the People?
We've heard the arguments countless times: people kill people, not guns. Or, if we all had guns, we'd protect ourselves against those who try to harm us. Well, did this "right" help the five year old kids or their teachers in CT?
