The State Department has been investigated for it's role in the lack of assistance for protection of the embassy in Benghazi. Sec. of State Hillary Clinton has managed to escape unscathed, although numerous members of the State Department have been disciplined. Mrs. Clinton has managed to avoid even having to testify as to her involvement or lack thereof, She is no resigning her position and move on with her life. Ambassador Chris Stevens will never be able to do so.
