Congress and the Senate get a pay raise. They don't care about the American people. The cuts won't affect them. They get paid anyways. They don't care if these cuts take place. They just care about their political motives. However, if you took withheld their monthly salaries until they work out a deal, Congress and the Senate would have a compromise faster than a bullet. Congressmen and Senators should not have a worry free life and not worry about getting salaries cut or losing their job. They need to suffer too so they understand the American people are angry and demand solutions.
