It is obvious this congress does not represent the people of the U.S. We cannot wait two years for a new session, we need to replace them now. As our founders said:
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of [our rights], it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…when a long train of abuses and usurpations… evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is [the peoples’] right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.
I petition for special elections of all 535 congresspersons. Incumbents may run but without the party war chests. We need people who represent us not their party. We need a government that will work for working people. We need a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
