With the Republican leadership having clearly stated its intent to unseat the president by simply obstructing each and every bill, by refusing to vote on vacant appointments, and by clearly willing to grind government to a complete halt in order to get their way, it is clear that this country is in economic and moral danger unless we can get Congress working again. With every indicator pointing to things only getting workse, something drastic needs to be done.
In light of recent polling suggesting that 60% of Americans would be willing to support such a measure, this could be the answer to get politicians back to work again.
