Hold students accountable to the level their teachers are being.

Created by J.M. on January 29, 2014

Since teachers have an evaluation process in which the success of the student is equal to 50% of an evaluation, students should also be held accountable. Students refuse to do class work and homework and won't complete nonlinear activities or long term projects. Students are offered online classes as recovery credit and summer school. But what is holding them accountable for the original learning? Second chances are being given so much and so frequently, that they expect teachers to constantly excuse assignments and give extensions. Administers push making deals with students or change grades to have a higher pass rate. This will only create generations of individuals who are constantly looking for exceptions to the rules. Hold students to a higher standard.
