The War Crimes Act of 1996 was passed with overwhelming majority by the United States Congress and signed into law by President Bill Clinton. It is well known that Pres. Bush and VP Cheney approved of and endorsed the torture of prisoners they felt were related to 9/11. That was in direct violation of the War Crimes Act signed into law by Pres. Clinton. You yourself admitted Mr. President that "we tortured some folks". We demand that Pres. Bush and VP Cheney as well as anyone else responsible for this atrocity be held accountable for their actions. Not holding them accountable sends the statement that our elected leaders are above the law. We demand these people be tried and given the punishment defined under the War Crimes Act which is life imprisonment or death.
