President Elect Donald Trump intends to back out of the Paris Agreement, our last hope to keep global warming contained before extreme consequences begin to set in. The United States is one of the leading countries in creating carbon emissions. Now it is time to be the leading country in taking responsibility and minimizing our carbon footprint. We must set an example for other nations and be true to our word.
