USPS should be required to handle packages with care and be liable for damages they do to packages. USPS recently returned to me a package that appeared to be slashed with a knife multiple times. According to Delivery Confirmation it did not make it passed the nearest sorting facility. This kind of damage should not be tolerated and the USPS should be accountable for damage they do to a package regardless of if it is insured or not. I am asking you to sign this petition to raise awareness to the poor customer service of USPS.
