Request the Congress to allow Federal Employees, including Collective Bargaining entities, to utilizing Holiday Accrual?
It would seem that allowing the accrual of Holiday Pay could save money during the actual time that the Holiday occurs and allow the employee to use the accrued Holiday at a later date saving the use of annual leave time.
Some municipal governments have policy in place for their employees to accrue the holiday. The number of hours credited for 40 hour per week employees would be eight (8) hours. The maximum accrual for holiday leave time should not exceed the number of declared observed holidays.
