Studies have shown that people can remain at home with a little home healthcare. If someone can come to their home several times a week and help do errands, cook and do light housekeeping. They could also get groceries and take the person to doctor's appointments. To do this would save money, enrich the quality of life of the disabled person, and provide jobs that would require little training. So everyone wins people are able to live in their own homes, jobs are provided that require little training and could give a steady job to someone who needs one, and it would save a great deal of money. Nursing homes are extremely expensive and could be used only when there is no other option. This needs to be a Federal Program.
