Homeless Shelter and temporary housing separation of church and state act
Create a Federal law that requires ever county in every state to have a state funded homeless shelter and temporary/transitional housing project that is religious free.
Law enforcement officers forcing transients who are traveling thru and citizens on probation or recently released from prison to stay at a religious ran institution and live by religious rules is a violation of separation of church and state as well as the First amendment.
Some of these religious based shelters force residents to work as slaves and then pay for transportation to attend mandatory worship services.
This is why many choose to live on the streets instead.
These should also be in place for disaster relief shelters through the US.
