Homeless Veterans- State of Emergency

Created by J.H. on September 06, 2015

According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, there are 49,933 veterans homeless on any given night.
According to the L.A. Times, there are 5,000 homeless veterans from all over the country who on any given night sleep on the streets in Los Angeles , in SKID ROW and in back alley squaller.
Los Angeles has the largest homeless population of Veterans and the largest Veterans Property in America with more than 200 acres available for housing.
We The People demand that the President and the Veterans Administration immediately provide temporary housing in West L.A. along with the supportive services needed, and further to build permanent supportive housing for every homeless veteran who needs housing.
