As a result of our genocidal assault on the political, cultural and economic freedom of the Lakota Nation. I am asking the United States Government to honor its treaties with the Lakota Nation. Let our generation be the generation that returns these stolen lands back to their original owners.

In light of our scorn and critique of Russia’s annexation of Crimea, we are in no position to place embargos and threaten other countries when we ourselves have annexed land that was not part of the United States.

The geographic area making up Lakota land covers portions of northern Nebraska, half of South Dakota, one-quarter of North Dakota, 20 percent of Montana and 20 percent of Wyoming.
