My petition is to honor all national holidays across the USA as we honor, Memorial day or Independence day. Holidays such as Martin Luther King Jr. birthday, or Presidents day or veterans day or Flag day and so many others go by with out being honored by our citizens and organizations. We created these holidays for a purpose to remember who we are and we came before us. We should honor them by immersing our selves in the spirit of the day not by sitting in cubicles or working at our jobs as if the day didn't happen. We should spend it with family to truly be Americans we need to honor these days as they represent who we were, are and who we are trying to be.
