In the coming year, we as a Nation should stop and remember the children and teachers of Sandy Hook Elementary School on their respective birthdays, as a celebration of the twenty-six lives lost, all to short, and as a reminder to us all to not let this happen again. The time has come to take steps to protect our children and families from gun violence by enacting rational gun control/safety laws. By stopping to remember and celebrate the birthdays of these twenty young children and their teachers, we can reaffirm are resolve to not let this happen again, and we can honor their lives with action to encourage our elected leaders to enact rational gun control/safety laws that will make our country safer and saner.
