This petition seeks to show 'good faith' between the American People and our government institutions. If the United States government wishes to disarm its citizenry, then it should, as well, relinquish all firearms used by Federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies with the exception of the United States military services. By doing so, the United States goverment would ease the fears that it is becoming a tyranny and oppressive to the very people who give it power.
