Cecil the Lion was recently killed outside of the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe in what is believed to be an illegal hunt.
He was lured out of the safe confines of the National Park, and was killed by an American, who had paid a local guide for this hunt.
All large game safari hunts should be illegal.
I urge President Obama as well as the Congress to create and pass Cecil the Lion's law to foster support for a worldwide ban on this barbaric practice of slaughtering lions (and other large game animals) for sport.
