Cody Pines, a high school student and football player at Huntington Beach HS in California, came to the aid of a disabled student who was being assaulted. He stopped the assault with one punch to the attacker, and then went to aid the victim. This brave young man has now been kicked off the football team, due to the school's Zero Tolerance policy on violence, which makes no exceptions even in cases of clear self-defense or the defense of others. We urge the school to reverse their decision, and we urge President Obama to personally honor this brave young man for his courage and decency in the face of evil. Cody Pines represents the best in America, and he deserves to be rewarded, not punished!!
