honor the end of the Mayan calendar by ending the Julian calendar, and making Stardates the official measure of time.

Created by D.R. on December 21, 2012

The world may not end today, but we can all agree that one era is ending and a new one is beginning. To honor this transition and to usher in the coming advances of mankind, we propose that the President recognizes the end of the Julian calendar at 23:59:59 GMT 21/12/2012, and that The Unites States becomes the first earth nation to recognize the use of Stardates as the official measure of time starting with 0000.0 at what would be 00:00:00 GMT if the Julian calendar would persist.
