To honor this transition and to usher in the coming advances of mankind, we propose that the President recognizes the end of the Julian calendar at 23:59:59 GMT 21/12/2012, and that The Unites States becomes the first earth nation to recognize the use of Stardates as the official measure of time starting with 0000.0 at what would be 00:00:00 GMT if the Julian calendar would persist.
