To honor his campaign promise from 2007 and recognize the Armenian Genocide of 1915 as a "Genocide".

Between April 24, 1915 and 1923, the Ottoman Turks systematically murdered over 1,500,000 Christian Armenians. the International Association of Genocide Scholars has unanimously and conclusively declared that it was a "Genocide". In 2007, while campaigning, President Obama repeatedly promised American Armenians that he would officially recognize the Armenian Genocide as a "Genocide", if elected President. However, the President has consistently refused and failed to do so. We simply plead with President Obama to honor his promise to us, to affirm historical truth, and to do what is right and courageous.
