No matter how you feel about illegal immigration morally, the simple fact is that we cannot afford it. Providing amnesty will cost our economy trillions of dollars, and drive our country into extreme debt. It creates an unfair burden on citizen taxpayers, strains already stretched education budgets (as educating foreigners is statistically more expensive), and poses a danger to Americans due to disease exposure, risk of an uprising, and further crimes performed by illegals once they are here. Further it is unfair to those who immigrated legally. The president is violating his oath of office by turning a blind eye to current immigration law, and his threats to overthrow the balance of power by acting unilaterally to enact what law pleases him is unconstitutional.
