Honor his promise to make his administration transparent and protect Americans from surreptitious law creation.

Created by V.B. on March 07, 2012

During the 2008 campaign, Candidate Barack Obama made the following promises to America: To "make government open and transparent.. to make sure that our business is the people's business, saying "Sunlight is the greatest disinfectant'; Obama promised to prevent Congress from passing laws when no one was looking': Promised that 'meetings where laws are made would be open to the public..that there would be "no more secrecy.": Promised when a bill came to his desk that the American people would have 5 days to examine the bill, before he signed it." Thus this petition calls for repeal of each bill where the American people did not receive 5 days to examine a bill and learn the contents, including Patent Reform (HR 1249) Health care Reform (HR 3962); and The National Defense Act (HR 1540).
