honor its promises to the American People regarding affordability of healthcare.

Created by T.H. on January 14, 2016

Using a pen, a phone, and executive orders:

1. To honor the promise that "you can keep your plan" by reimbursing individuals and families for premium increases which exceed the published CPI index since 2009. President Obama and congressional democrats promised explicitly that healthcare would become more affordable (hence the name "Affordable Care Act.")

2. To reimburse households $2,500 a year (for the year 2009 and forward) for the savings promised by the President.

3. To require insurance companies to honor "You can keep your doctor" by requiring them to pay coverage obligations regardless of whether the provider was in- or out- of network.

4. To require healthcare providers to charge the same lowest price for services to both insured and uninsured patients alike.
