On Jan. 2, 1979, a House of Representatives Select Committee published a final report of their investigations into the assassinations of Pres. John Kennedy and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The committee found both deaths may have been the result of named and unnamed conspirators. This is the last official action USG has taken regarding the death of Dr. King.
William F. Pepper, the attorney representing the King family after Dr. King’s assassination, and other investigators, have since provided evidence that King was indeed killed as a result of the efforts of many individuals within powerful organizations, including US CIA, FBI, NSA, US military, including military intel; Memphis, TN police (where King’s assassination occurred), and organized crime members.
