Honor Neil Armstrong by establishing a memorial on the National Mall.

Created by D.S. on August 25, 2012

The Apollo 11 spaceflight was a turning point in human space exploration. For the first time, mankind escaped the bounds of mother Earth and set foot on another celestial body. Neil Armstrong, the first man to ever walk on the Moon, should be memorialized on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for this great accomplishment, as well as his dedication to public service and the exploration of space. This memorial would not only honor his life, but serve as an inspiration to future generations to continue to explore worlds beyond our own.
