Nik Wallenda is the most accomplished high wire artist of his generation. For years he has performed spectacular feats of daring that have captivated the world. Most recently Nik successfully walked the high wire over the Grand Canyon while the world watched. This was perhaps the most spectacular feat of his storied career and one of the most remarkable athletic achievements in history. Nik is a devoted family man and positive role model. He has a vision to achieve what is seemingly impossible and then make it possible. Nik is an American hero and I believe his incredible achievements should be recognized at a White House ceremony.
