We have separation of church and state for a reason. Historically, when the two collude, disaster and death for some soon follow...case in point, the Irish Holocaust. No other religious leader has ever addressed congress. No other religious leader dares to fault our freedom of speech. Many people came to this country to get away from the oppression and crimes against humanity committed by the Roman Catholic Church. Has anything changed? Ask the orphans of Duplessis about collusion of church and state.
