Honor promise to veto tax cut bill if the bill to renew federal unemployment with retro pay is not put to vote in house.

Created by M.N. on August 11, 2014

Barack Obama promised he would veto the tax cut extenders bill for business research and development if the Senate passed bill to renew the federal unemployment extension with retro-active benefits for five months was not put to a vote in the House of Representatives. We ask that he honor that promise to bring that bill to a vote in the House to begin the process of renewing this valuable benefit to the unemployed. The economy and Americans are suffering because Americans are being denied a benefit that has been and is still being paid for from contributions from employers.
