Honor those lost at Umpqua and all those lost to gun violence by passing tighter background checks

Created by M.P. on October 01, 2015

The mass shooting at Umpqua Community College has left our nation reeling in the wake of another senseless act of gun violence.

Since President Obama took office, he has addressed the nation 15 times on gun violence, including mass shootings at Charleston and Sandy Hook elementary school. When will our Congress, state legislatures, and Governors listen?

We need to call on Congress to propose and pass tighter background checks and a federal ban on assault weapons so no other families will ever have to experience the loss of a loved one through gun violence.
