We the people of the United States of America urge the President of the United States and the Secretary of the Navy to recognize the Crew and Veterans that have served and continue to serve on board the USS Jacksonville SSN-699. The USS Jacksonville, is a Navy nuclear submarine that will celebrate 33 years of continued service May 16, 2014 protecting the liberties and freedoms that we all hold dear. We ask that the President in a written proclamation on or about May 16, 2014 (The Anniversary of the Ships Commissioning) recognize and congratulate the Jacksonville and its crew and its veterans for this continuing service..
