Honor Zimbabwe request to extradite Mr. Palmer to have justice served for the illegal slaughter of Cecil the lion.

Cecil the 13 year old lion was the victim of trophy hunter Mr. Palmer paid $50,000 to illegally bait Cecil off protected territory. He shot Cecil with a cross bow, followed him for 40 hours and then killed him with a rifle. He attempted to destroy his tracking collar to avoid being caught for his illegal activity. He is a notorious trophy hunter who deserves to be punished for his act. In the past when caught killing a bear in an illegal manner, he was fined only $1000. He deserves harsh punishment. He claims ignorance of the illegality of the hunt. Ignorance, if in fact that is true, which is highly unlikely, is not excuse for for following the law. As a side fact, while in Tanzania, I saw a the collar tracking device on a lion a great distance away which I shot only with my camera.
