On May 12th, 2014, an HMLA-469 UH-1Y went missing while conducting humanitarian aid mission in the earthquake stricken country of Nepal. On May 14th, the wreckage of the helicopter was discovered during Search and Rescue operations. It is presumed that there are no survivors.
This is to petition Honorable Mr. Obama to order all flags to be flown at half mast for 6 days and a moment of silence be observed.
These Marines gave their lives trying to give aid to a nation that was in desperate need of help. Let's honor their memory.
