On November 14, 1995, my mother Hope Thomas was gunned down as a result of a paid hit. At just 7 years old, I was the sole witness to this brutal act and my father Corbin Thomas was the conspirator. He is currently serving a life sentence for first degree murder and a 10 year sentence for conspiracy to commit murder, concurrently.
Fast forward almost 21 years later, he has announced that he will be getting married.
With marriage being so sacred, anyone who has been involved in any way, shape or form with their spouses death should not be allowed to remarry. How can you respect such a union when you're in prison for killing your spouse?
If life insurance policies aren't granted to a spouse guilty of the other's death, then the option to remarry should also be off the table.
