Host a national conversation on how to ease women and children in America out of poverty.

Created by C.A. on March 16, 2013

Women are poorer than men in all racial and ethnic groups, the numbers of women and children falling into poverty are growing. What will it take for America to put women and children first? Households with one wage-earner typically those headed by single mothers have found it extremely difficult to support a family. The share of families with children headed by single mothers rose. Seven million women and children are among the 20.5 million in deep poverty. One in four children in a household headed by a single mother is in deep poverty. The people must have unified mindset to shift the culture to give female and children a greater future in America.
