Bruce Springsteen is an American icon. He has also done a to fight and reduce povery and childhood hunger. Honoring him would bring attentiong to Bruce's charitable work and show our country's appreciation for his work. If we can honor Paul McCartney with an "In Performance at the White House," surely we can honor an American legend. Finally, since the President loves the Boss, it would be a nice break for him and the White House staffs.
