The White House would bring together corporate, nonprofit, academic, and government leaders along with artists and arts leaders to develop a cultural plan to spark innovation in America.
The last White House conference on the arts was held in the 1980's. This conference would begin with a series of regional meetings around the country and culminate in Washington, DC with a series of formal recommendations to the President.
The recommendations would touch on many federal areas that serve the cultural sector.
