Host a White House roundtable with American Muslim leaders to improve diplomatic efforts in Muslim-majority societies.

Created by M.B. on November 28, 2012

In our interconnected era, it is imperative that global leaders engage in an diplomatic rather than confrontational manner with other nations. Policymakers must partner with civil society groups that can build bridges from one nation to another. We ask President Obama to host a roundtable meeting with American Muslim leaders of varied denominations, in order to articulate more effective solutions for public diplomacy in Muslim-majority societies. American Muslims remain an incredibly effective advocacy group for democracy and human rights activists from their countries of origin, yet their efforts still remain underutilized by American policymakers. Now is the time for the Obama administration to change that paradigm. Please visit MPJP's website for more info: http://bit.ly/UADdqC
