In the United States, between 7,500 and 8,000 diagnoses of testicular cancer are made each year, with an estimated 370 deaths this year alone. Almost all of these deaths are from cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and could not be effectively treated with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and/or surgery, but some are from complications from chemotherapy and/or surgery. The overall five-year relative survival rate of people with testicular cancer is 95%. This is unacceptable. Lets bring that statistic up to 100% by hosting a Women's Sandwich Making Contest, where the proceeds would go to malecancer.org, so we can finally get a cure, while also enjoying a good sandwhich made by women.
