President Obama has made it clear that Syrian refugees pose no threat to Americans. He should lead by example and welcome a family of refugees into his home. Given the peaceful nature of these refugees and the strict gun control laws in Washington D.C. there should be no need to have the Secret Service provide any additional screening or protection for the President and his family. This program of having refugees stay at the White House could even be extended to the next President, although, given past experience, it might be prohibitively expensive in the event of another Clinton Administration.
