The President and Vice President communication to the People they serve is one of the most sacred duties of the Office. Communication to the people of the United States and other nations has, from the time of our country's founding, been accomplished through clearly stating the topic, explaining the supporting points and why the President made the decision. This historical and critically important format cannot be accomplished in 140 characters and dishonors the Office. The volatility of social media, fake & planted news, in example the recent nuclear threats in the middle east from a false tweet, all demonstrate this format is too risky to bet the safety of every man, woman and child in the United States and the World on it. This Petition bans Twitter and similar by the President & VP.
